Threshld is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We collect and use information only for practical business reasons: to operate the website, accept payment, prepare and deliver report packages, provide secure dashboard access, support customers, improve the product, and manage referrals or account credits.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, company or owner name, project details, intake answers, source links, uploaded files, package selections, payment and checkout metadata, report history, dashboard activity, referral activity, email preference activity, and support messages. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by Threshld.
How we use information
We use your information to save and resume intake drafts, process checkout, generate and deliver report packages, send secure dashboard links, provide the included revision, respond to support requests, maintain account and referral records, protect the service, and understand which parts of the product are working.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers for website hosting, secure storage, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, customer support, research support, and report production. These providers may process information only as needed to help us operate Threshld and deliver your report.
Cross-border processing
Because Threshld serves clients across North America and uses online service providers, your information may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our providers operate. When information is processed outside your province, state, or country, it may be subject to the laws of that location.
Analytics and cookies
We use necessary cookies and similar storage for secure access, checkout, saved preferences, and dashboard sessions. We may also use optional analytics to understand page views, checkout progress, dashboard access, and report download activity. Analytics events are not intended to include intake answers, uploaded files, payment card details, or report content. You can turn off optional analytics through the privacy choices control in the site footer.
We send transactional emails for checkout, secure access, report delivery, support, referrals, and account activity. If you opt in, or where permitted by law after a purchase or business relationship, we may send low-volume product or lifecycle emails. Marketing-style emails include an unsubscribe option. Transactional emails may still be sent when needed to provide the service.
Confidentiality
Project information, uploaded files, generated reports, and dashboard links are treated as private to the customer account. Threshld does not sell project files or intake content. The automated intake is designed for business project information, not regulated personal information, highly sensitive personal information, or restricted data-room materials.
Sharing and secure links
Report downloads and private report views are available through secure dashboard access and limited-use links. If you create or forward a report link, share it only with people authorized to receive the information.
Retention
We keep project and account data for dashboard history, delivery records, revisions, customer support, security, business operations, and legal or accounting needs. Expired login links and sessions are cleaned up automatically. You may request deletion, subject to reasonable limits where records are needed for legal, accounting, security, or service-delivery reasons.
Your choices
You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, withdraw optional email consent, unsubscribe from marketing-style emails, or turn off optional analytics. To make a privacy request, email Threshld.
If a package is not right
Every Threshld package includes one free revision after delivery: add context, swap files, sharpen the question, ask a follow-up. If a delivered package is still genuinely off-target after that, email Threshld directly. We resolve cases through revision, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.
